SHIPMENTS SUBJECT TO PREVIOUS ARRANGEMENTS (ver See Special Cargo)

The following shipments will only be accepted with previous arrangements:
a) Shipments requiring any special attention.
b) High value shipments.
c) Live animal.
d) Human remains.
e) Dangerous goods
f) Perishables
g) Fire arms for sport purposes are accepted only if country of origin, points of transit and final destination accept them..

SHIPMENTS NOT ACCEPTED BY TAM Cargo

a) Weapons and war materials
b) C.O.D (Charge on Delivery) Shipments
c) Infectious residues of any kind
d) Infected live animals
e) Human remains of persons diseased due to an infectious-contagious illness (unless incinerated)
f) Dangerous Goods whose transportation is forbidden in cargo and passenger aircrafts
g) Wild fauna and flora considered in danger of extinction, not having the applicable government license
h) Articles able to compromise the security of the aircraft, persons or property or anything that might disturb passengers

Note: TAM Cargo does not include here small-bore weapons commercialized for sport purpose, such as guns, rifles, pistols, etc, weapons destined to certain countries, or to a police institution. However, they shall always have import and export license to the countries involved, transit countries according to their need and application.

LIMITATION/REFUSAL OR ACCEPTANCE

TAM Cargo can refuse to transport any shipment if the following situations are presented:

a) Improperly packed.
b) In case shipment can possibly be damaged by low or high temperatures and no facilities are available to protect such shipment from these conditions.
c) Shipments already damaged by any nature that indicates that the transportation cannot be done without loss or damage of the merchandise.
